Join The Rise!

A lot of my readers may know that I run a Christian girls group.
My vision has always been to be able to minister and work in lives of girls all over the world.
So I was doing my revision, and working on the computer, and I just felt an urge to go look at web hosts and blog hosts.
I didn't really think that 2 hours later I would have set up what I had a vision for.
I've created a wordpress website, it's simple, but it does what I need it to do.
I want to be able to connect girls all over that have the same passion and enthusiasm to go above and beyond expectations to do the work of God.
I launched 'Aspire Youth' in the late hours of last night, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens!
Please go over and take a look, leave a comment or ask a question. I'm hoping this will kick off, but I can't do this alone. I need the support of others to help this start.

The Heart of Friendship Poem

Jemma here!

Here is a lovely poem I just found, and wanted to share it with you!

The Heart of Friendship

The bond of friendship is everlasting
True friends never say good-bye
There is pure truth between us
That will never die
The miles between will be rough
So carry the memories with you
Because the power of friendship
Will always carry you through
Remember, never forget
To follow what's in your heart
Because true friends
Will never be apart
We will soon see each other again
Our Lord will keep us strong till then
My heart holds you deep as friend
Praying that the Lord brings you home again
The Lord will comfort my heart
Washing away the ache with the tears that I cry
So I will say see you soon
And never good-bye

-Sandra L. Pierce

Hope you liked as much as I did!!
If you have any post suggestions for the authors, we would love to hear them!

Introducing Nyah...

Hello Everybody!
So sorry about not posting!
Please, feel free to comment on the blog, demanding for a new post...we don't mind!

So, I am now introducing Nyah on this blog (you may have noticed her 'about me' page)

I have been friends with Nyah since she was 5-6, and she's turning 12 this month!
We have about 2 and a half years between us (I am 14), and have had a lot of ups and downs!
We have vowed never to speak to each other, over stupid little things, and some big things too, but always made up with each other in the end!
We tend to have problems between us because of age difference, but I would still consider her on the top of my list.
We used to play baby dolls, and barbies together. Now it's hair, clothes and make up!
We have both been through so much together, and it was totally worth it!
Both of us being raised in Christian (Homeschooled) families, I think we have both grown a lot in our Christian faith with each other, which probably wouldn't have happened if we had never met.

You can read her blog here.

-Using the same questions as before-

A. I don't really have a favourite food, I just like food!

Q. What is your favourite movie?
A. I don't know, but I like most films!

Q. Favourite hairstyle?

Q. What is your dream job?
A. I don't really have a dream job, but I'd love to do something to do with children (Midwife or Children's Nurse)

Q. If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
A. With you!! She also said, somewhere warm, as well as South Africa or America!!

Q. What do you like most about blogging?
A. I like inspiring people, and I enjoy it!

So that is just about it!
The last thing I want to say is that, if we had never ever met, our lives would be very, very different!!
So thankful that God made us friends!
